Clinical Study on Bone-Strengthening Decoction Combined with Riserdronate Sodium Tablets in the Treatment of Senile Osteoporosis
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Bone-Strengthening Decoction combined with Riserdronate Sodium Tablets on Senile Osteoporosis.Methods:A total of elderly patients with osteoporosis were divided into the control group and the combined group by envelope method,with 37 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Riserdronate Sodium Tablets,while the combined group was treated with Bone-Strengthening Decoction combined with Riserdronate Sodium Tablets.The clinical efficacy,the changes in TCM syndrome scores,bone mineral density,and estradiol(E2)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Re-sults:After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes such as lumbago and ridge prickle,waist and knee soreness and weakness of lower limbs in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the above indexes in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the bone mineral density of lumbar spine L2-4 and femoral neck in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the above indexes in the combined group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);the E2 in the two groups was higher than that before treatment,and the above index in the combined group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The effective rate of the combined group was 94.59%,while that of the control group was 75.68%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bone-Strengthening Decoction combined with Riserdronate Sodium Tablets has definite curative effect on senile osteoporosis,which can improve the clinical symptoms of patients,enhance the level of bone mineral density,and regulate the level of estrogen.
