Clinical Observation of Acupuncture Combined with Yang-Supplementing and Five-Returning Decoction in the Treatment of Neurogenic Bladder After Spinal Cord Injury
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Yang-Supplementing and Five-Returning Decoction on neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury. Methods:A total of 78 patients with neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury in Jinxi County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to May 2022 were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was given conven-tional rehabilitation treatment, while the observation group was given acupuncture combined with Yang-Supplementing and Five-Retur-ning Decoction. The changes in urodynamic indexes, micturition, bladder function score, quality of life score and clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment were observed. Results:The effective rate of the observation group was94.87%,while that of the control group was 79.49%.The effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistically signifi-cant difference(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of physical function, social function, material life status and psychological func-tion in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);The uro-dynamic indexes and micturition in the observation group were better than those in the control group, with statistically significant differ-ences(P<0.05);The bladder function score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after treatment, with sta-tistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Yang-Supplementing and Five-Returning Decoc-tion for the treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury can enhance the bladder function, improve urodynamics and micturi-tion,and improve the quality of life of patients.
