The Influence of Urinary Stones-removing Pill on Stone Expulsion and Recurrence Rate after Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy in Patients with Urinary Stones
Objective:To explore the influence of Urinary Stones-removing Pill on stone expulsion and recurrence rate after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy(ESWL)in patients with urinary stones. Methods:A total of 120 patients with urinary stones were randomly di-vided into the control and the study groups, with 60 cases in each group. Both groups received ESWL treatment. Then the control group additionally received routine Western medicine treatment, while the study group received Urinary Stones-removing Pill in addition to the control group's treatment. The clinical efficacy, stone expulsion rate, recurrence rate,TCM syndrome scores, microalbuminuria(mAlb),serum cystatin C(Cys C),and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The effective rate of the study group was 96.49%,higher than 82.76%of the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).On the 7th and 14th days af-ter ESWL,the stone expulsion rates of the study group were 57.89%and 87.72%respectively,compared to 37.93%and 70.69%in the control group. The study group's stone expulsion rate was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).The recurrence rate in the study group was 3.51%,lower than the 15.52%in the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).On the7th day after ESWL,the TCM syndrome scores,mAlb,and Cys C levels in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05).The postoperative complication rate in the study group was 10.53%,lower than the 27.59%in the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Urinary Stones-removing Pill can enhance the stone expulsion effect after ESWL in patients with urinary stones, significantly reduce postoperative kidney damage, lower the recurrence rate of stones, and decrease the incidence of postoperative complications.
