Clinical Study on the Treatment of Early Diabetic Nephropathy with Qi-Boosting and Yin-Nourishment and Kidney-Tonifying and Blood-Activating Decoction
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Qi-Boosting and Yin-Nourishment and Kidney-Tonifying and Blood-Activating Decoction on early diabetic nephropathy.Methods:A total of 60 patients with early diabetic nephropathy treated in Chengdu Shuangliu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research subjects,and were divided into the routine group and the observation group according to the clinical manifestations of the patients,with 30 cases in each group.The routine group was given con-ventional western medicine therapy,while the observation group was treated with Qi-Boosting and Yin-Nourishment and Kidney-Tonify-ing and Blood-Activating Decoction on the basis of the routine group.The changes in blood glucose[including fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 hours postprandial blood glucose(2 hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)],blood lipids[including three acyl glycerin(TG),total cholesterol(TC)],renal function indexes[including 24-hour urinary protein,β2-microglobulin(β2-MG),serum creatinine(Scr),urinary albumin excretion rates(UAER)]and adverse reactions of the two groups before and after treatment were observed.Re-sults:The effective rate of the routine group was 86.67%,while that of the observation group was 93.33%,with a statistically signifi-cant difference(P<0.05).After treatment,the FBG,2 hPG and HbA1c of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the observation group's above indexes were lower than those of the conventional group,but there were no statistically significant differ-ences(P<0.05);TC and TG in the observation group were lower than those in the routine group,with statistically significant differ-ences(P<0.05);the levels of 24 h urinary protein,β2-MG and UAER in the observation group were lower than those in the routine group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);Scr in the observation group was also lower than that in the routine group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was13.33%,while that in the routine group was 23.33%.The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the rou-tine group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Qi-Boosting and Yin-Nourishment and Kidney-Tonifying and Blood-Activating Decoction in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy can reduce blood glucose and blood lipids,improve renal function,and has fewer adverse reactions.
