The treatment of pulmonary hypertension(PH)with TCM primarily includes internal and external treatment methods.Cur-rently,a large amount of research has been conducted on the material basis and mechanisms of action of Chinese drugs in this field.However,most studies focus on single targets or pathways,with limited research on the interactions between multiple signaling pathways.The lack of advanced techniques for identifying and isolating active ingredients from Chinese drugs,along with insufficient scientific re-search methods,limits the exploration of pharmacological actions of monomers and compounds of these Chinese drugs.This restriction hampers further research on TCM monomers and formulas,constraining the multi-component characteristics of TCM.In the future,there should be improvements in extraction and isolation techniques,more in-depth research into molecular biology and pharmacology,multi-phase clinical trials,and the application of modern experimental technologies,to facilitate the discovery and promotion of more active in-gredients and mechanisms of action.
