Study on Staged Treatment of Post-Cardiac Diseases Following Combined Mycoplasma Pneumonia and Influenza Infection in the Elderly Based on the"Yang Qi Transformation and Flow"Theory
Based on the"yang qi and transformation flow"theory,the key pathological mechanism underlying post-cardiac diseases fol-lowing combined mycoplasma pneumonia and influenza infection is the depletion of yang qi.The heart qi is distributed and dispersed through the body surface,and it is easily affected by external pathogens,leading to damage of yang qi,impairing its protective role.Sub-sequent disharmony between nutrient and defense qi,and persistent pathogen entrapment lead to yang qi dysfunction.The cardiac system is not functioning properly,causing to imbalance between water and fire,which in turn hinders the smooth flow of yang.The retention of latent pathogens can permeate the entire course of post-cardiac diseases.In the process of differential treatment,the key is to restore the normal function of yang qi transformation and flow.Based on the patient's symptoms,the first step is to differentiate between the exterior and interior,the second step is to differentiate between the degree of deficiency and excess,and the final step is to identify the location of warming yang qi.For patients with deficient heart yang qi and weakened exterior defenses,warming the heart and supplementing yang qi can restore the function of yang qi transformation.For those with deficiency in both the heart and spleen,leading to insufficient trans-formation source,treatment should focus on warming the spleen and elevating yang to restore the root of yang qi.For disharmony between water and fire,resulting in an unfavorable pivot mechanism,treatment should aim at warming the kidney and assisting yang to restore the foundation of yang qi.For pathological products resulting from dysfunctional transformation of yang qi,the treatment principle is to pro-mote yang qi and resolve turbidity.The pathogenesis of post-cardiac diseases after infection is complex,so in clinical practice,it is nec-essary to combine differentiation of six-meridian,defense qi,nutrient qi,blood,and triple energizer,etc.for flexible and comprehensive treatment.
