Research progress of chemical constituents and pharmacological actions of Ebushicao(Centipeda minima)
As a traditional Chinese medicine,Ebushicao(Centipeda minima)is widely used in clinical practice.It possesses the effects of dispelling wind cold,relieving cough,and improving nasal ventilation.The main chemical constituents of Ebushicao(Centipeda minima)include terpenoids,flavonoids,essential oil,sterols,and phenols.This review has comprehensively summarized and classified the 164 chemical constituents and their structural characteristics.Ebushicao(Centipeda minima)and its constituents exhibit anti-tumor,anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation,antibacterial,anti-allergy,anti-virus,liver-protective,and other pharmacological activities.This paper has reviewed the chemical constituents and research progress of pharmacological actions of Ebushicao(Centipeda minima),offering ideas for further research and providing a reference for its development and application.
