The theory of"removing the turbidity and strengthening the body foundation"guiding the cancer treatment during the late summer
"Treating according to time,person,and place"is a classic TCM theory that has been applied consistently throughout history,among which"treating according to time"best reflects the TCM principles of"man-nature correspondence"and"holistic concept"in treatment based on pattern identification.Professor JIA Yingjie has been engaged in the TCM prevention and treatment of malignant tumors for nearly 40 years.Building on classical theories,he innovatively put forward the pathogenesis of"cancer turbidity"and the theory of"removing the turbidity and strengthening the body foundation".In his clinical observations,Professor JIA found that patients with malignant tumors tend to have weak constitutions and are susceptible to the effects of seasonal changes.Therefore,he emphasizes the importance of integrating seasonal characteristics into treatment plans and adjusting medication according to the time of year.Prevailing in the late summer,dampness and heat can easily accumulate and transform into turbidity externally,which combines with"cancer turbidity"in the body,leading to rapid changes in the condition.This paper summarizes Professor JIA's characteristics of medication in the treatment of malignant tumors during the late summer in order to guide the clinical application.
