On the transferability of volatile components from single to compound medicinal materials of Buyang Huanwu Decoction
Objective To analyze the fingerprint of the volatile oil of compound and single medicinal materials in Buyang Huanwu Decoction(BYHWD)(decoction pieces)by total statistical moment method,and to study the transferability and stability of single and compound medicinal materials in BYHWD extraction process.Methods The volatile oils of BYHWD and its components were obtained by steam distillation,and the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)fingerprints were established.The transferring rules of the parameters of the total statistical moment of the compound and single medicinal materials were calculated and analyzed,and the changes in the volatile components of the compound and single medicinal materials were analyzed.Results The GC-MS determination method of BYHWD was established,and the statistical moment parameters of the total amount of the fingerprint of the single and the compound medicinal materials were obtained.Sixty five components were obtained from the volatile oil of the compound,of which 45 compounds were from the volatile oil of the compound medicinal materials.The transferability of the total volatile components from single medicinal materials to the compound medicinal materials was 88.74%,indicating that the single medicinal materials and the compound medicinal materials followed the Hard-Weinberg equilibrium in terms of composition and content,and verified the additivity of the total statistical moment of the fingerprint.Conclusion The research has provided methodological support to the quality control of BYHWD.The additive performance of statistical moment has expounded the transitivity of single medicinal materials to compound medicinal materials,aiming to offer a new idea for the quality control of classical renowned formulas.
