Treating vitiligo of yang deficiency pattern with regulation of the lung and spleen
Vitiligo is a prevalent skin condition characterized by the appearance of depigmented patches, which can extend across various parts of the body, with a prolonged disease course. This condition notably affects the quality of life for those affected.Based on the characteristics of vitiligo,it is believed that the internal deficiency of yang qi and invasion of the body by exogenous pathogenic factors constitute the underlying pathogenesis. The onset of vitiligo is closely related to immune responses to microorganisms.By delving into literature and clinical experience, this paper holds that Chinese medicine offers a treatment approach for vitiligo by regulating the lung and spleen functions, correcting dysbacteriosis, and modulating the immune system. These strategies provide novel insights and methods for the clinical treatment of vitiligo.
