This paper discusses Professor KUANG Jilin's experience in treating infertility with the method of strengthening the spleen and reinforcing healthy qi based on the theory of"the spleen as the postnatal foundation".Professor KUANG has inherited and innovated the Tongguan Formula,achieving remarkable results in the treatment of infertility.She believes that infertility is mostly attributed to the spleen dysfunction,with the main pathogenesis being internal retention of phlegm and dampness,blood stasis in the uterus,and dysfunction of the Chong and Ren meridians,which makes it difficult for conception and subsequent pregnancy.Therefore,the treatment should focus on strengthening the spleen and reinforcing healthy qi,draining water retention and eliminating dampness,as well as transforming stasis and unblocking collaterals.Attached is a vertified medical record demonstrating significant clinical efficacy in improving the reproductive function of patients with infertility,providing new ideas and approaches for the treatment of reproductive diseases with Chinese medicine.
