A crack was found on the main landing gear of a certain type of aircraft,which would cause safety accidents once it breaks.This paper analyzes the cause of crack in the stay rod bolt by using physical and chemical analysis and fault tree elimination method,and proposes corresponding solutions to avoid the recurrence of similar problems.
