By means of the optical microscope,Rockwell hardness tester,and micrometer,the paper introduces the study on the effects of quenching clamping method,stirring method of quenching oil tank and use of tempering fix-ture on the deformation and performance of plate parts.The results indicate that there are differences in the defor-mation mode and amount between flat and vertical placement,and vertical hanging is the optimum quenching clamping method for controlling deformation of plate parts;For thinner parts,reducing the stirring rate at the moment of oil injection during quenching can reduce the amount of quenching deformation without affecting the hardness value;Choosing appropriate fixtures during tempering can effectively reduce deformation.Based on the thickness of the fixtures and the stacking thickness of the parts,the metallographic structure and hardness can meet the process requirements if extending the tempering time reasonably.
