Research on the Evolution and Prospect of Poster Design for New Chinese Films
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,Chinese movie posters and Chinese films have grown to-gether,and the design of movie posters has always been an important part of the marketing and promotion of Chinese films.In order to clarify the academic development of Chinese film poster design research,this paper explores the development context,main research content and development direction of its design research,in order to inspire future design and re-search.Based on the bibliometric analysis of NoteExpress,and using methods such as literature discussion,induction and comparative analysis,this paper conducts empirical analysis and horizontal and vertical comparative research from three di-mensions of mainland China,Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and foreign countries,and analyzes the main content,hot-spots,methods and development trends of poster design research since the founding of New China.The research shows that:the research on Chinese movie poster design has been developing continuously since the founding of New China,and it is currently in the rising stage of research;the research theme and content are mainly reflected in the category of design;re-lated research at home and abroad has both connections and differences;the research method is mainly qualitative research;The research direction is mostly reflected in design practice and theory,history and culture,etc.In the future,the interdis-ciplinary and multi-modal research on movie poster design will become an important development trend.
