Theoretical Stipulations,Practical Logic,and Global Implications of Chinese Path to Modernization from a Comparative Perspective
Modernization represents the progressive direction of human social development.Western modernization,typified by European colonial expansion,American wealth disparity,and the chaebol monopoly model in Japan and South Korea,fundamentally prioritizes capital above all else and suffers from inherent,insurmountable defects.Chinese path to moderni-zation is rooted in Marx’s modernization theory,spiritually enriched by the excellent traditional Chinese culture and revolu-tionary culture,formed in the practical process of Chinese exploration and pursuit of modernization,and created two mira-cles of rapid economic development and long-term social stability.Chinese path to modernization embodies modern char-acteristics of being people-centered,comprehensively coordinated,and inclusively open,surpassing the Western moderni-zation in multiple ways and providing a new path for developing countries to realize modernization.
