Engagement Motivation of Study Tourism and its Effect on National Identity:An Research Based on Students from Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Overseas Chinese in the Universities of Mainland China
The study tourism of college students from Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and overseas Chinese is a practical explo-ration of the integrated development of tourism and education,especially in the guidance of its Chinese cultural identity and enhancing national awareness,and is an important innovation in national education and talent cultivation in colleges and uni-versities.This paper extracts the structural dimensions of the motivation of Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and overseas Chinese students in colleges and universities to participate in study tourism through grounded theory,and generates the corresponding measurement scale,and then constructs an impact model of study tourism motivation on national identity from the perspective of participants,and conducts an empirical test.The conclusion showed that the motivation of Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and overseas Chinese students in colleges and universities to participate in study tourism was composed of 4 dimensions(self-im-provement,cultural identity,social interaction and participation experience)and 20 elements,and the motivation for partici-pating in study tours has a significant positive impact on the national identity of students from Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and overseas Chinese in mainland universities,with Chinese cultural emotions playing a mediating role.This study not only com-prehensively reveal the theoretical process of the multiple influences of the motivation of Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and o-verseas Chinese students on the Chinese cultures and national identity,but also provide a new idea and method for related re-search in the fields of study tourism and higher education,and also promote the extension of study tourism value and the sus-tainable development of innovation,and provide a theoretical reference for colleges and related institutions to adjust their training strategies and realize educational value.
