Segment Selection Analysis on TBM Construction of Water Conveyance Tunnel in Kaliwa Dam Project
The author takes the TBM construction of the water conveyance tunnel of the Kaliwa dam project in the Philippines as an example to discuss the selection of lining segments.Firstly,by comparing and analyzing the structural characteristics and applicability of the three commonly used segments,the tunnel lining segments suitable for the characteristics of the project are selected,that is,parallelogram segments and hexagon segments.Then,from the aspects of design function requirements,construction speed and cost,the parallelogram segment and the hexagon segment are comprehensively compared and analyzed,and the hexagon segment is finally selected.The research results can provide reference for the selection of water conveyance tunnel segments with the characteristics of long tunnel line,small tunnel diameter,few curved sections and low internal water pressure.
