Influence of Desert Environment on Photovoltaic Modules
This paper discusses the performance and influencing factors of photovoltaic modules in desert environment, and puts forward a series of targeted improvement measures and suggestions.Through a one-year field monitoring of a photovoltaic power station in a desert area,a large amount of data on relative humidity, temperature, wind speed, atmospheric pressure and solar radiation intensity were collected, and the performance changes of photovoltaic modules under different dust concentrations were simulated in the laboratory. The results show that the high temperature and strong radiation in the desert environment have a significant impact on the photovoltaic modules, while the impact of dust on the photovoltaic modules is more complex; There is a significant correlation between relative humidity and radiation intensity, and dust deposition has a great influence on the power loss rate of photovoltaic modules; The increase of dust concentration leads to the decrease of transmittance, which in turn affects the efficiency of photovoltaic modules.Through research,it is expected to promote the application of photovoltaic technology in a wider range, reduce dependence on fossil fuel energy, and achieve sustainable development goals.
