In order to realize the economic operation of virtual power plant and improve the consumption level of renewable energy such as wind and solar energy,this paper proposes an optimal scheduling model of virtual power plant based on improved honey badger algorithm(IHBA).By taking the minimum total operation cost of the virtual power plant as the objective function,the optimal scheduling model of the virtual power plant is constructed by considering all kinds of operation constraints of the virtual power plant.The three strategies of Bernoulli mapping,piecewise optimal domain and horizontal crossover are used to improve the honey badger algorithm,enhance the global search performance and local optimization performance of IHBA,and use IHBA to solve the optimal scheduling model of virtual power plant.The results of the example analysis show that the total operation cost of the virtual power plant obtained by IHBA is the smallest,and the solution accuracy is higher than other optimization algorithms,which verifies the effectiveness of the constructed model and the superiority of IHBA.
