A Study on the Intention of Normal University Students to Return to Their Hometowns to Assist Rural Education in Hebei Province
The return of normal university students to their hometowns to support rural education is an effective way to address the structural shortage of teachers in rural areas.Through a questionnaire survey,the intention of normal universit y students in Hebei Province to return home to assist rural education was investigated,and the data was analyzed using difference testing,correlation analysis,and other statistical methods.The study found that the main reasons for the insufficient intention of normal students to return home to support rural education are inadequate policy guidance,poor attractiveness of rural schools,family obstacles,and personal beliefs and capability shortcomings.To enhance the intention of normal university students to return home to assist rural education,it is necessary to strengthen their awareness of rural education,improve their overall quality,enhance the working and living environment of rural teachers,and strengthen the construction of rural education infrastructure.
