Evaluation of Peanut Yield Stability and Adaptability by GGE Biplot Based on R Language:A Case Study of Peanut Cultivar Anhua3 in Northern China
In order to evaluate the productivity, stability, and adaptability of peanut varieties more scientifically and accurately, and improve the efficiency of variety breeding and extension,a GGE biplot based on R language was used to analyze the high and stable yield and adaptability of pea-nut variety Anhua3 in the region trials of northern China during 2018-2019.The results showed that Anhua3 had prominent high-yield(ranking first in the 2-year multi-environment variety trials)and ex-cellent stability, and ranked first in the ranking genotype, which is the closest to the center point of the ideal variety. The dominant suitable planting area of Anhua3 was the widest among all cultivars, which covered the most parts of northern China, including Henan,Shandong,Hebei,Liaoning and Shanxi provinces. For one-to-one comparison,Anhua3 had a beneficial planting advantage with higher yield potential than the control cultivar. In summary,it showed that the variety Anhua3 possessed i-deal characteristics of high yield, stability and adaptability. This study provided a theoretical guideline and reference for reasonable utilization and extension of Anhua3.
