Genome-Wide Analysis of the FAR1 Gene Family in Peanut
FAR1,a class of transcription factors derived from mutator-like transposases, plays an impor-tant role in the phytochrome A signaling pathway.Genome-wide analysis of FAR1 is helpful to understand the molecular mechanism of the FAR1 family in development and in response to abiotic stress pathways in peanut.60 FAR1 genes were identified in peanut. The genes were divided into three groups by phylogenetic analysis.21,20 and 19 proteins were classed intoⅠ,ⅡandⅢgroups. The Ka/Ks ratio of 65% orthologs was less than 0.5,which indicated that these genes were structurally stable and conserved, and experienced strong negative selection.Using online published transcriptome data,it was found that the majority of FAR1 genes were mostly expressed in the leaf. The results provide a foundation for future studies of the functions and regulatory mechanisms of FAR1 family members.
