Characteristics and implications of Ukrainian unmanned platforms attacking the Russian Black Sea Fleet
On October 29,2022,under the coordinated support of space and air intelligence information from NATO,and the support of air relay and space Starlink communication,the Ukrainian army carefully chose to use the sea and air unmanned platforms to coordinate a surprise attack when the Russian army was difficult to observe and the defense was lax.The attack damaged the Russian Black Sea Fleet severely.This raid shows the world that unmanned platforms are changing and innovating the mode of naval warfare.We should follow the de-velopment trend of unmanned and intelligent naval battlefields,attach importance to the development,construc-tion and application of unmanned means,pay attention to the construction of new quality and new domain defense means,enhance the multi-dimensional situational awareness of unmanned small targets,accelerate scientific and technological innovation and the transformation of achievements,and make full preparations for winning high-end joint maritime operations in the future.
