Optimization of Laser-TIG Hybrid Welding Technology of 2219 Aluminum Alloy
In this paper,CO2 laser and TIG arc hybrid welding method was used to carry out welding technology tests on 2219 aluminum alloy for aerospace use.The effects of laser power, current, welding speed and other parameters on the forming of welded joints were studied. The optimized hybrid welding parameters were obtained, and the microstructure and mechanical properties of welded joints were analyzed under the optimized welding parameters. The microstructure in the weld center area was mainly eutectic microstructure composed of Al-Al2Cu,with fine dendritic morphology. The microstructure in the heat affected zone was similar to that of the base material, but the grain size was slightly larger than that of the base material. The average tensile strength of the hybrid welded joint was 294 MPa,which was 70.84%of the base material, and the elongation after fracture was 8%.The tensile fracture was a typical ductile fracture.
