Study on the Relationship Between Hardness and Strength of Aerospace Material 7A09 Aluminum Alloy Based on Solution-aging Heat Treatment
As a typical deformable ultra-high strength aluminum alloy,7A09 aluminum alloy is widely used in aerospace and automobile manufacturing fields,and is one of the main materials of sheet metal parts for the new generation of launch vehicle.Through tensile test and hardness test at room temperature,the hardness,tensile strength and elongation of two kinds of 7A09 aluminum alloy sheets with different thickness were analyzed and compared after heat treatment at different solution temperatures and artificial aging temperatures.The range of solution temperature and aging temperature of 7A09 aluminum alloy sheets was obtained,and the corresponding relationship between hardness and tensile strength under different solution-aging conditions was determined.The results show that the relationship curve between hardness and tensile strength obtained is more accurate.For non-load-bearing sheet metal parts of launch vehicle,hardness testing can replace tensile strength testing to determine whether the performance indicators are qualified,shorten the testing cycle and reduce manufacturing costs.
