Investigation on the Hot Incremental Forming Limit of Common Aerospace Aluminum Alloys
Aluminum alloy has been widely used in the aerospace field,because of some advantages,such as light weight,high strength,good processing performance,and excellent corrosion resistance.With the development of aerospace technology,the performance requirements for aluminum alloy materials are higher,which promotes the continuous development of aluminum alloy materials in the high-performance and lightweight direction.As an advanced sheet metal forming technology,the hot incremental forming process provides a new solution for the manufacture of aerospace aluminum alloy parts,and this technology has received extensive attention from scholars.During the hot incremental forming process,the three typical methods,such as electric heating,laser heating,and electromagnetic induction heating,are investigated.On this basis,the investigational advance of the hot incremental forming limit of aluminum alloy is investigated,and the effect of process parameters on the material forming limit is also investigated in detail.
