Analysis on Defect Formation of Superalloy Cylindrical Part with Large Height to Diameter Ratio in Aero Engine during Sheet Hydroforming Process
To solve the problem that the superalloy cylinder with large height to diameter ratio can not be formed integrally,a sheet hydroforming process was developed. The mechanical properties of GH3536 superalloy sheet were tested, and the sheet hydroforming process of cylindrical parts was studied based on finite element numerical simulation. Then the influence of different process parameters on wall thickness and forming defects of cylindrical parts was analyzed.According to the simulation results, the sheet hydroforming experiments were carried out to optimize the forming window of blank holding force and pressure, and qualified deep cylindrical parts were formed without any defects. Finally, the formation law of defects was analyzed.
