There is a close coupling relationship between online public opinion and ideological and po-litical education in universities.The formation,development,dissemination and popularity of online pub-lic opinions have a profound impact on the value judgment and value choice of college students,making the ideological and political education environment in colleges and universities face new situations and challenges.Based on this,starting from the internal mechanism of online public opinion,the three charac-teristics of online public opinion can be analyzed,combined with the current ideological and political edu-cation in colleges and universities faced with three levels of practical difficulties in education subject,edu-cation object and education environment,from the perspective of strengthening the construction of ideo-logical and political teachers,strengthening the online quality education of students,improving the super-vision mechanism of public opinion in colleges and universities and other coping strategies.Innovate the path of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
