The Floating and Returning of Emotions:The Dilemma and Countermeasures of Emotional Labor for Young Teachers of Ideological and Political Courses in Universities——Based on a Survey of Universities in Shanghai
The emotional labor of young teachers in ideological and political courses in universities is the basic guaran-tee for implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. This study conducted an in-depth survey on 11 young teachers of ideological and political courses in universities from the perspective of emotional sociology. The survey found that the weakening of self-identity in teaching activities, skill anxiety in career development, and excessive involvement in teacher-student life interactions are the main problems faced by young teachers in ideological and political courses in universities in achieving emotional labor. They should also actively use emotional labor strategies to overcome current difficulties, through surface performance from"instrumental rationality"to"value rationality",deep performance from"objectivity"to"subjectivity",and performance continuation from"public life"to"daily life",to ensure a balance between emotional investment and emotional compensation.
