There are significant differences in the information structure between English and Chinese at the level of complex sentences.How to reconstruct the information structure of in translation text is important in the process of Chi-nese-English language conversion.In the process of English translation of Chinese paratactic sentences,the translator first needs to recognize the core information and establish the backbone of the English sentences according to the semantic rela-tionship and context of the source text,and then he or she needs to construct the secondary information of the translation with the help of various phrases,non-finite verbs,absolute constructions or clauses in English,so as to make the syntax structure of the translation compact,the semantic hierarchy clear,and enhance the readability and authenticity of the translation.
