The article adheres to a problem-oriented approach and designs a survey questionnaire on"English Teach-ers'Language Assessment Literacy."The questionnaire includes six modules:basic information,assessment knowledge,assessment skills,assessment principles,the China's Standards of English Language Ability,and assessment training,with a total of 89 items.The study found significant differences in various dimensions of assessment literacy based on fac-tors such as teachers'gender,educational background,assessment-related experience,and school type.The article offers opinions and suggestions from the perspectives of policy and educational practice by foreign language education authorities in China on further improving the current state of language assessment literacy among English teachers in primary,sec-ondary,and higher education,and better utilizing the China's Standards of English Language Ability.
