Based on McLuhan's media theory of communication,combined with relevant knowledge of psychology,this paper analyzed the relationship between the data rise and fall,that is,the relationship between the media use of"con-tainer people"and"marriage".The study explored the conflicting mental states of"container people"who desire freedom,desire to beloved,desire to be unique but are afraid of being exposed,and reject others in the new media envi-ronment,and further analyzed the psychological causes of"container men and women"escaping from marriage,which is the imitation of learned helplessness and negative behavior.The above phenomenon is caused by a variety of factors,like technological development issues,family of origin and social reasons.In order to make the development of marriage be-tween young men and women work in a positive direction,it is suggested to start from the educational environment,fami-ly environment,social environment and psychological guidance of young men and women,and take a portfolio of counter-measures to crack the current dilemma.
