The Aesthetic Implication and Contemporary Value of Mencius'Moral Education Content
The excellent historical and cultural heritage of China not only vividly narrates the past,but also profoundly influences the present and future.Protecting and inheriting the excellent traditional cultural heritage of China is a responsibility to history.The aesthetic connotation of moral education in Mencius'thought is reflected in its manifes-tation of human nature and the beauty of human ethics.Based on this,this paper explores how it promotes the improve-ment of individual moral realm,analyzes how it has a positive impact on society,reveals its unique role in cultural inherit-ance,and examines its implications for ecological ethics.From an aesthetic perspective,reexamining the contemporary value of the aesthetic implications in Mencius'moral education not only provides new ideas for the modern transformation of traditional moral education thought,making moral education content more closely aligned with the aesthetic and psy-chological needs of modern people,but also helps to construct a more comprehensive,three-dimensional,and harmonious moral education system.
