In order to investigate the effects and mechanisms of physical exercise on Internet addiction of high school students,735 high school students were studied by using the Physical Activity Rating Scale,Self-Control Scale,Psycho-logical Flexibility Scale,and Internet Addiction scale,etc.Results were analyzed and structural equation modeling was constructed.Findings:1.Physical exercise can improve high school students'Internet addiction behavior.2.Physical exer-cise can both directly affect high school students'Internet addiction behavior and indirectly affect high school students'In-ternet addiction behavior through the mediating effects of self-control and psychological elasticity,with the following spe-cific paths:(1)Physical exercise has a significant positive effect on high school students'self-control and psychological e-lasticity,and a significant negative effect on Internet addiction;(2)Self-control and psychological elasticity have a signifi-cant negative effect on high school students'Internet addiction;(3)Self-control and psychological elasticity have a signifi-cant negative effect on high school students'Internet addiction.control and psychological resilience mediate the relationship between physical exercise and Internet addiction among high school students,respectively.
