Investigation on the Aesthetic Evolution of the White Ramie Dance in Qing Shang Music
As one of the most regionally distinctive forms of folk dance and music in the Qing Shang tradition,the aesthetic evolution of the White Ramie Dance profoundly reflects the changes of the times.Through a detailed study and exploration of the three key developmental stages of the dance's rise during the Wei and Jin dynasties,its peak during the Southern and Northern Dynasties,and its decline during the Sui and Tang dynasties,the article discovers that the style of the White Ramie Dance gradually evolved from initially simple and elegant to frivolously ornate,and ultimately towards extreme extravagance.This transformation process is closely linked with the mentality changes and aesthetic orientations of the powerful families and scholar-officials of the time.Additionally,by analyzing the artistic reconstruction of two con-temporary works of the White Ramie Dance,the use of Montage creative techniques and narrative structures across multi-ple spaces more accurately convey the deeper information of the characters and plot indirectly demonstrates the transfor-mation of its aesthetic tastes,and concretely exhibit the aesthetic pursuits and spiritual demeanor of that era.
