中华典籍外译的易读性与可读性研究——以《西游记》韦利译本和蓝诗玲译本为例

中文摘要：本文以《西游记》韦利译本和蓝诗玲译本为例,通过软件量化分析和文本细读研究,比较了两节译本的易读性和可读性.结果发现,两节译本均遵循"一致性"原则和"缩短距离"原则以提高译本易读性,同时利用副文本构建叙事语境,采用编译结合或译创结合策略以增强文本故事性和时代性,从而提高译本可读性.两节译本的成功经验或可为今后中华典籍外译提供一些新的启示.

外文摘要：Taking the English translations of Journey to the West by Arthur Waley and Julia Lovell as examples,this paper aims to compare the legibility and readability of the two English translations by means of software quantitative analysis and close read-ing.The results show that the two translations both follow the principle of"consistency"and"shortening distance"to improve the readability of the texts.At the same time,the sub-text is used to construct the narrative context,and the strategies of compiling and creating while translating are adopted to make the story more vivid and keep pace with the times,so as to improve the reada-bility of the translations.The successful strategies employed in the two translations may provide some new inspirations for the translations of Chinese classics in the future.
