Experimental research of a refractory gold ore with high sulfur and arsenic content
In response to the problem of low gold recovery caused by high sulfur and arsenic content in a gold ore, which is prone to sludging,an experimental study was conducted using a staged grinding, staged flotation-non-cyanide leaching process for flotation tailings. The research results showed that under the conditions of a first-stage grinding fineness of-0.074 mm accounting for 75.6%and a second-stage grinding fineness of-0.043 mm accounting for 78.1%,with the addition of 1 650 g/t acidified water glass,350 g/t copper sulfate,(240+96)g/t of butyl xanthate+ammonium dibutyl dithiophosphate, and 160 g/t terpilenol,a flotation process was tested, and the flotation tailings were subjected to non-cyanide leaching using leaching agent. The final recovery indicators obtained were an 84.40%gold recovery rate for flotation concentrate,a 10.52%gold leaching rate for flotation tailings, and a total gold recovery rate of 94.92%.The research findings have important guiding significance for the development of similar gold resources.
