Stable isotope geochemistry study of Yinshan copper-lead-zinc polymetallic deposit in Dexing,Jiangxi
The hydrogen, oxygen, sulfur, and lead isotopes of Yinshan copper-lead-zinc polymetallic deposit were studied to determine the sources of ore-forming materials. The research results indicate that the δD values range from-78.9 ‰ to-28.5 ‰,with an average value of-56.5 ‰;the δ18Ov-SMOW values range from 12.10 ‰ to 18.70 ‰,with an average value of 16.06 ‰;the δ18 OH2O values range from 0.18 ‰ to 11.26 ‰,with an average of 8.24 ‰,indicating a mixture of magmatic water and atmospheric precipitation as the ore-forming fluids. The δ34 S values range from-1.04 ‰ to 2.71 ‰,with an average value of 1.35 ‰,which is significantly different from the sulfur isotopes of the ore-bearing strata of Zhangcun Formation in the mining area, suggesting that the ore-forming materials do not directly come from the strata but have a clear mantle sulfur(-3 ‰ to 3 ‰)signature, closely related to volcanic-subvolcanic activities in the mining area. The lead isotopes(206 Pb/204 Pb=17.890 0-18.319 0,207 Pb/204Pb=15.528 0-15.602 5,208Pb/204Pb=38.025 2-38.445 0)indicate a mixed source of crust and mantle, and the ores have an affinity with the magmatic rocks.
