Experimental study on the beneficiation of a gold-antimony ore in Qinghai
The gold-antimony ore from Qinghai has a complex mineral composition, with gold primarily encapsulated in sulfides, oxides, and arsenopyrite, and antimony mainly present in stibnite and valentinite. The ore contains a high level of harmful arsenic, making it challenging to process.Mineralogical studies, flotation condition tests, and closed-circuit tests were conducted based on the characteristics of the ore.Under optimal separation conditions, the closed-circuit test yielded an antimony concentrate with a grade of 60.86%and a recovery rate of 94.87%,and a gold concentrate with a grade of 51.23 g/t and a recovery rate of 69.94%.These promising results provide a reference for the beneficiation process development and utilization of this type of ore.
