Research on Acceptability Evaluation and Optimal Design of Health Monitoring Products for the Elderly
Based on the theory of technology acceptance model,the acceptability factors affecting the ac-ceptance and use of health monitoring products by the elderly are explored from the perspective of product design,and optimized design strategies and design practices are proposed.An evaluation system was con-structed to evaluate the acceptability of health monitoring products for the elderly,and an evaluation group of elderly users was selected to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of a telepathy monitoring product as an example.The results show that the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of the product are good,while the perceived safety and perceived pleasure of the product are average,especially in the fault toler-ance and user experience related indicators have low ratings.The design should pay more attention to the actual operation experience of the elderly,improve the guidance and fault tolerance of the product in the process of use,and help the elderly to better accept and use the health monitoring product.
