Prognostic value of NLR,LMR,PLR,and CAR in patients with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer
Objective:To investigate the prognostic value of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),lymphocyte-monocyte ratio(LMR),platelet-lymphocyte ratio(PLR),and C-reactive protein-albumin ratio(CAR)in patients with small cell lung cancer. Methods:A total of 46 patients with non-metastatic small-cell lung cancer treated in Xiaogan Central Hospital Affiliated to Wuhan Univer-sity of Science and Technology from October 2020 to June 2022 were selected for retrospective analy-sis as the limited-stage group, and 52 patients with metastatic small-cell lung cancer were included as the extensive-stage group. All the 98 patients were also categorized into death group and survival group according to their outcome.Clinical data and routine blood tests were collected and analyzed. Results:The values of NLR,LMR,PLR,and CAR in the lung cancer group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),while the values of NLR,LMR,PLR,and CAR in death group were lower than those in death group(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis between the death group and survival group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The serum levels of NLR,LMR,PLR,and CAR in patients with distant met-astatic lung cancer were higher than those in the control group, which can provide reference for predict-ing the prognosis of small cell lung cancer in clinical work.
