摘要

流行病学调查和动物模型研究表明,流感病毒感染与肺炎球菌感染之间存在协同作用.在先前的几次流感大流行中已经证实流感病毒感染会导致继发性肺炎球菌感染的易感性和细菌感染的严重性增加.流感继发肺炎球菌感染的发病和致病是一个多因素过程,涉及各种致病性毒力因子和宿主反应,上皮表面的巨大变化和异常的免疫反应是流感后细菌感染和感染严重程度的关键驱动因素.然而,进一步了解流感病毒和继发性肺炎球菌感染的分子机制,对于制定更好的治疗和预防严重流感的策略至关重要.

Abstract

Epidemiologic investigations and animal models experiments suggest a synergistic effect between influenza virus infection and pneumococcal infection.The fact that influenza virus infection leads to increased susceptibility to secondary pneumococcal infections and increased severity of bacterial infections has been demonstrated in several previous influenza pandemics.Influenza infection following pneumococcal infection is a multifactorial process that involves various pathogenic virulence factors and host responses.Key drivers of secondary bacterial infection and its severity include significant changes in the epithelial surface and an abnormal immune response.However,it is essential to further understand the molecular mechanisms of influenza virus and secondary pneumococcal infections to develop better strategies for the treatment and prevention of severe influenza.
