Efficacy comparison between soluble reconstruction barrier microneedle and Nd:YAG Q-switching 1 064 nm laser in the treatment of melasma
Objective:To compare the clinical efficacy of soluble reconstruction barrier microneedles and Nd:YAG Q-switching 1064 nm laser in melasma treatment. Methods:Ninety subjects with melasma were included and were randomly divided into three groups using a random number table according to their treatment as Group 1:the combination of tranexamic acid and soluble reconstructive barrier mi-croneedle group,Group 2:the soluble reconstructive barrier microneedle group, and Group 3:the la-ser combined with tranexamic acid smear group. All the patients were treated once a week for a total of 6 times. This study used a skin analysis system to evaluate the condition of melasma skin. Results:After treatment, the skin conditions of all three groups were improved. The therapeutic effect of the combination of tranexamic acid and soluble reconstruction barrier microneedle group showed no signifi-cant difference from that of the soluble reconstruction barrier microneedle group, and the efficacy of both groups(Group 1 and Group 2)was significantly better than that of laser combined tranexamic acid smear group. Conclusion:Soluble reconstruction barrier microneedle therapy has a good therapeutic effect on damaged skin and can significantly reduce the loss of damaged skin in patients.Especially in pain management, soluble reconstruction barrier microneedles have shown greater advantages than tra-ditional laser therapy.
