Research on the Impact of Green Innovation on Urban Economic Resilience——Empirical Testing Based on the Urban Agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River
Based on the panel data from 2012 to 2021 encompassing 28 prefecture-level cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, this paper investigates the influence of green innovation on urban economic resilience using bilateral fixed effect model and nonlinear panel threshold model. The finding indicate that green innovation significantly enhances urban eco-nomic resilience, and the conclusion validated through rigous robustness tests. Moreover, our further investigation unveils heterogeneity and threshold effects in the relationship between green innovation and urban economic resilience.Specific-ally,the positive impact is notable pronounced in small cities.Additionally,as the level of green innovation within a city reaches a certain threshold, the enhancing effect on regional economic resilience begins to diminish gradually.
