Research on the Model and Evolution of the Ecological Dominance of Leading Firms in Industrial Chain Based on Grounded Theory
Safety and controllability of the industrial chain is the foundation for the sustainable and high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.Industrial leaders of chain serve as the primary guiding capability within the chain. This paper selects two industrial chain leaders of the construction machinery,Sany Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd.and Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co.,Ltd.and adopts the grounded theory to explore the ecological dominant of leading firms in industrial chain. It is found that the ecological dominant of leading firms in industrial chain encompasses both in-ternal and external aspects.the internal force includes technical guiding capability, market guiding capability,integra-tion synergy capability, and cultural integration capability, but the environmental support force is the external capability,The five parts constitute the five forces model of ecological dominance. With the evolution of the industrial chain lead-ers ecosystem, including species evolution, population evolution, community evolution, and network evolution, the para-digm of ecological dominant capability has gone through an evolutionary process from internal to external, from group to network. From the start-up stage to the intelligent manufacturing stage, the growth of ecological dominant capability has gone through the paradigms of"endogeneity","exogeneity","concurrence"and"symbiosis".The parts of ecological dominant of leading firms in industrial chain are interrelated, leading different ecological functions.they are the"diges-tive system function","circulatory system function","endocrine system function"and"support system function".By constructing the model of ecological dominance of leading firms, this paper explores the evolution law under the back-ground of digital technology, providing useful reference for cultivating the ecological dominance of leading firms in in-dustrial chain.
