Digital Economy,Industrial Structure Upgrading and Urban Business Economic Resilience
External shocks and changes of inner demands bring urban business severe challenges,but the digital economy facilitates the economic resilience of urban business by optimizing industrial structure upgrading,providing an effective guarantee for promoting consumption and stabilizing economic growth.Based on the reasonable measurement of urban business eco-nomic resilience,the impact of digital economy on urban business economic resilience and the main mechanisms of which are empirically examined by using the panel data of 261 prefecture-level and above cities in China from 2011 to 2021.This paper finds that the digital economy significantly improves urban business economic toughness,and promotes the improvement of urban business economic toughness through the promotion of industrial structure upgrading;the level of the digital economy and industrial structure upgrading have a double-threshold effect,and the promotional effect on business economic toughness presents an"inverted U-shape";regional heterogeneity and period heterogeneity indicate that the digital economy in eastern cities and in the period of restoration and innovation has a significant impact on urban business economic toughness.Regional heterogeneity and period heterogeneity show that the digital economy has a stron-ger effect on business economic toughness in the eastern cities and the period of restoration and innovation.As a result,the development of digital economy is an important way to enhance the commercial economic resilience of China's cities,and the development of digital economy should be further accelerated.
