Urban Design for Differentiated Zoning Compilation and Management Control Aimed at Administration and Implementation
In order to adapt to the new context of territorial spatial planning in the new era and its new requirements for urban design, there is an urgent need to change the methods and approaches of urban design amid an equal emphasis on incremental and stock spaces. This paper proposes a re-examination of the undifferentiated compilation method of traditional urban design, attempting to take stock and incremental spaces as research objects, and exploring a classified zoning approach based on existing,to-be-built,and controlled-preserving areas. The research results suggest that, while establishing a corresponding compilation system, the differentiated classification and zoning compilation approach and management control elements can better guide urban design towards future planning management and implementation systems, and enhance the value and role of effective urban design implementation in creating and main-taining urban characteristics and improving urban quality.
