The effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi-fermented liquid fertilizer on the quality of Bingtang sweet orange was studied.Chemical fertilizer was replaced with AM fungi-fermented liquid fertilizer, which was applied by an integrated water-fertilizer dripping irrigation system simultaneously at four sites(BL,BJ,HN,and TH)in Yongxing County,Hunan Province. The quality indicators of Bingtang sweet orange were determined, including both appearance quality indicators(single fruit weight, peel thickness, and fruit shape index)and internal quality indicators(soluble solids, titratable acid,solid-acid ratio,VC content, edible rate, and juice yield). The results showed that replacing chemical fertilizer with AM fungi-fermented liquid fertilizer did not significantly affect the single fruit weight, peel thickness or fruit shape index and had little effect on the edible rate and juice yield of Bingtang sweet orange. However,it increased the soluble solids and solid-acid ratio by 16.46%-33.80%and 54.32%-63.18%,respectively,and reduced the titratable acid by 4.55%-31.43%,significantly improving the internal quality. However, the changes in the content of VC in fruits varied at different sites, which needed to be further explored considering soil nutrients, planting management, light, climate and other factors.
