Study on Temporal and Spatial Differentiation of Rural Residents'Income in Hunan Province and Its Influencing Factors
Based on three categories of Hunan Province, counties that have been lifted out of poverty, and general counties, this study analyzes temporal and spatial differentiation of rural residents'income in 101 counties, cities and districts of Hunan Province from 2015 to 2020 and its influencing factors,so as to further improve rural residents'income and comprehensively promote rural revitalization. The study finds that from 2015 to 2020,the absolute gap of per capita disposable income of rural residents among counties, cities and districts in Hunan Province continues to expand, while the relative gap continues to narrow;wage income is the main source of rural residents'income, and the contribution of net operating income and net transfer income is also relatively great;the annual average growth rate of rural residents'income in counties that have been lifted out of poverty is higher than that in Hunan Province and general counties, and net transfer income has become an important part of their rural residents'income. The income of rural residents in Hunan Province presents a spatial differentiation pattern of"high in the east and low in the west",showing a spatial positive correlation at the county level and obvious spatial agglomeration characteristics;HH agglomeration area is mainly distributed in Chang-Zhu-Tan city cluster and its surrounding counties, cities and districts, and LL agglomeration area is mainly distributed in western Hunan.Spatial differentiation of rural residents'income in Hunan Province is the result of multiple factors, among which the economy and society and policy input are key factors.Hence, the study suggests doing a good job in consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with rural revitalization, giving prominence to rural economic construction and industrial development, and promoting coordinated regional development and achieving common prosperity.
