Effects of Different Cultivation Matrixes on the Quality and Yield Performance of Rice Seedlings
This study aims to explore the suitable matrix for cultivating rice seedlings for machine throwing in the double cropping rice production area of Changsha.The seedlings of'Jinliangyou 128'were cultivated with eight different matrixes,and the quality,field growth,and yield performance of early rice seedlings were studied.The results showed that the seedlings cultivated with the matrix composed of carbonized rice husk ash and nutrient soil had high seedling emergence rate,seedling formation rate,and chlorophyll content,good aboveground and underground morphology,and strong tillering ability.Moreover,the seedlings were cultivated with low costs and high yield performance.Among the treatments,60%nutrient soil + 40%carbonized rice husk ash had the highest yield performance of seedlings,being suitable for the promotion and application in the cultivation of rice seedlings for mechanical throwing in the double cropping rice production area of Changsha.
